Expedition and Adventure:
In addition to his success climbing the
Seven Summits, Bo made it to the top of
numerous other challenging mountains.
These include: the Matterhorn in
Switzerland; Mont Blanc in France; Ama
Dablam in Nepal; Cho Oyu in Tibet; and
Mt. Aspiring and Mt. Cook in New
Zealand.
Bo has also participated in some notable
scientific discoveries, ski mountaineering
and car racing:
- Vanguard team member who become the
first Americans to ski down Nepal's Mt.
Manaslu, 8th tallest peak in the world
(25,000 down to ~Base Camp)
- The first ski descent in the last 12 years of Mt. Orizaba (North
America's 3rd tallest peak)
- The youngest American to ski down
Cho Oyu, 6th tallest peak in the world
(Camp 3 to Base Camp)
- Discovered 29 new life forms on Mt.
Kilimanjaro in Africa
- Skied solo down from the summit of
Europe's tallest peak (Mt. Elbrus,
Russia)
- Skied down from the summit of
America's Mt. Rainier
- Skied down from the summit of America’s Longs
Peak and Mt. Washington in Winter
- Participated in the first Stateside
“Gumball 3000” car rally, from New York
to Los Angeles, in 2002, driving a 1971
